**UPDATE. I removed the asterisk because the remote control is small and cannot be attached to the selfie stick, so it can easily be lost or left lying around, rendering the selfie stick unusable. **I actually laughed at this when I got it because obviously I didn't know how big it was going to be. I thought how inconvenient this is because it definitely won't fit in your purse and won't catch your eye. But since then I've used it many times and it's really very useful. Just note that this is more of a cell phone tripod than a typical selfie stick. Super cool for wider shots and recording videos without having to hold the joystick. I'm not good at taking selfies unless you can see I'm holding a selfie stick, so I finally gave up thinking it was the best way. If you're looking for something small and compact this probably isn't it, but it's surprisingly light if you don't mind the size. Overall it's great and I highly recommend it!
