Updated the original 1 star rating. The seller contacted me and offered to send me another set to test, so I agreed. Here's what I found. After talking to another dealer about offshore and sometimes onshore TIG kits, some insulators definitely don't fit CK and sometimes other brands of torches without a little modification. If you take a razor blade and snip a few thousand off the edge that engages the torch head, the insulator will snap into place. I ordered a small kit from this company that included an isolator part number CK and it didn't fit either. I took the razor blade to the CK number isolator and the kit isolator and they both fit after the mod. The rest of the components in this kit are of good quality and if you are an amateur welder like me you will be fine. There seems to be a ZERO standard for all TIG torch manufacturers and even if you buy OEM parts there is no guarantee that they will fit perfectly, at least as far as the insulators go. Knowing what I know now I will definitely buy this kit again. I literally have a new CK 17 series torch and the isolators from this kit will not fit no matter how hard you press. As you can see from the photos, the difference between the new CK isolator and the isolators in this kit is between 65,000 and 70,000. when the new CK insulator and the CK insulator was stretched. I was disgusted but emailed the seller 2 days ago to give them a chance to fix it. I still have no response from the seller so I have to send the kit back. I think the tolerances for these kits are sketchy at best.
