While surfing the internet I hesitated which blanket to get. I knew I wanted to give something warm and soft, but also something that would last longer than everyone else. This one looked good but I was put off by the non-original brand. Turns out there are several different brands labeled on this box, so I think it belongs to a larger company. It was thinner and not as plush, and I thought, but that's okay. This is a great throw and thin enough to fit between comforters. It's also quite compact and even arrived in a little tight packaging. Another great thing is that this blanket warms up. Many quilts emit gentle warmth at their highest temperature, but the lowest setting for this setting is close to the maximum setting for a regular quilt. This thing can really warm you up! I like it. This feature is probably good, but consider it when purchasing. Also, have you noticed how many electric blankets have controls that have two wires sticking out of one end, causing the control to dangle and get in the way? Not this one! This one has wires coming out of each end so it's straight with the cable. It's much better and I don't understand why all manufacturers don't do it. All in all, this is a good buy. I give him 5 stars. I can come back to this later if I find it necessary (like if it breaks too soon) but so far it's great. And color. Brilliant! It is a very beautiful, pure blue color. I love it.
