I bought this to protect my TV from power surges. A few days ago my TV would not turn on, so it was checked by a TV technician. It looks like the components burned out due to a possible power surge as the TV was off when it happened. I checked the indicator on the extension cord, which still showed it was protected. I had an iPhone wireless charger plugged into the USB ports. This also burned down as it also stopped working. So with the extension cord, I lost my $600 TV and iPhone charger. Grace saved me as this strip didn't include my Sonos products. I bought her because of her popularity but she didn't do the job.
