Answers! to audio and video accessories

I needed to split a mic input (pc sound card) into 4. After searching Google for answers, these were all expensive amps. I bought this cable splitter on trust. IT WORKS OUT! excellent, may I add. The only problem is that all 4 microphones have to be switched on, otherwise none of them will work. I don't think it's the cable.
