Review on 🔌 DSD TECH HM-17 Bluetooth 4.2 Module with CC2640R2F Chip for Arduino Compatible with iPhone: Enhancing SEO by Brandon Hayes

These HM-17 modules are advertised to operate over 20 meters (60 feet). According to the HM-17 data sheet, the modules should operate up to 100 m (60 ft) outdoors. But the modules I received only work at a much shorter distance of 3m (10ft). I will send them back and ask for a replacement kit (need 2 modules, apparently for communication). Perhaps one or both modules are defective? Aside from the range issue, the modules work as expected.
