Review on Samyang SYIO35AF-E 35mm f/2.8 Ultra Compact Wide Angle Lens for 📷 Sony E Mount Full Frame, Black: Optimal Solution for Stunning Wide Angle Photography by Andy Edwards

I've seen some great photos from people who have used this lens, but my experience prior to the firmware update was that auto white balance and autofocus don't work in this lens. My Tamron 28-75 F2.8 doesn't have this problem when set to 35mm. The firmware that was operational in Samyang was version 3, and I understand that it is version 5 now. It's a little annoying that you can't just upgrade the lens from the camera, so I had to borrow a docking station (which costs almost another $100 if you want to buy). However, after the update, AWB and AF have improved significantly. I'll watch it for another week and hope it's not a fluke or something else I'll update this review. So far the performance is good and I like how light it is and the camera shrinks and shoots almost to the point.
