The product is completely satisfied, performs its functions.

I was looking for something everyday and budget with autofocus, because there is enough optics through the adapter. In principle, it justifies itself if you need to catch something faster than with your hands. There is enough sharpness, bokeh is present - you can take it if you need exactly 35mm with autofocus on Sony E With its pros. Really very light, almost not felt. Sharp enough for a 12MP Sony a7s. Budget autofocus compared to other offerings for this mount Its cons: It often smears…

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

Completely satisfied with the lens, it works out its money! With its pros. Very light lens, extremely convenient with Sony Alfa 7, easy focusing, good bokeh. Almost completely sharp at 2.8, sharpness drops a little at the edges. The focus ring is not tight, but not weak either, the rosary stops in the place where it was released. In sufficient light, autofocus is fast. With its cons. A small vignette on the open, from 5 disappears. In low light, it cannot find focus the first time, it misses…

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

I used it for 3 months and sold it due to poor focus and strong vignetting. I bought it thinking to replace the whale 28-70 3.5-5.6, but the whale turned out to be faster and better. Has some pros 1. Low price for a full frame autofocus lens. 2. Compactness in conjunction with the first generation Sony A7 turns out to be a very "convenient size" for family filming and walking. Its cons: 1. Bad focusing algorithm. He can focus well only at an open aperture. As soon as it closes more than 5.6, he

    Works perfectly. AFTER firmware update

I've seen some great photos from people who have used this lens, but my experience prior to the firmware update was that auto white balance and autofocus don't work in this lens. My Tamron 28-75 F2.8 doesn't have this problem when set to 35mm. The firmware that was operational in Samyang was version 3, and I understand that it is version 5 now. It's a little annoying that you can't just upgrade the lens from the camera, so I had to borrow a docking station (which costs almost another $100 if…

    light and sharp.

I bought this lens as a lightweight standalone lens for my Sony A7RIII while on vacation in Hawaii. I felt like $295 including tax wouldn't be a huge loss if the lens didn't work. I had my Humongous 24-105 F4 Sony lens with me in case the Samyang didn't work. I was blown away by the image quality and portability of this lens and the Sony 24-105 never left the case. It was a pleasure to walk around in this lightweight outfit. Images were sharp both in the center and at the edges, and at f2.8…

Better optical option than Sony Zeiss 35 f/2.8 FF but no guarantee

This lens is better than Sony Zeiss 35 f/2.8 FF. Both lenses are pretty much the same in my opinion, with the Samyang being a bit sharper in the center and across the frame. The Sony Zeiss 35 f/2.8 FF is a bit heavier, which may or may not be a positive thing depending on the viewing angle. I sent this lens back because it was decentered. , with the left side of the image being noticeably blurry at the full F/2.8 aperture. A small amount of dust in the lens elements was also visible. If the…

I photograph architecture and real estate to make a living. I was looking for a light and small lens to take with me on weekends and holidays. I heard some good reviews about this lens so I decided to give it a try. it hit me I swear if I had to wear only one lens for the rest of my life, this would be it. Are there sharper and faster 35mm lenses? Sure, for $800 or $900 you could get a sharper, faster lens, but it would also be twice the size and five times the weight of that lens. This lens is

It's like not having a lens at all

It's so small and light. it's like no lens at all. Weighing in at 85g, this is the perfect lens for a mirrorless camera. Why buy the rx1 when you can put this lens on the a7ii for a lot less and there are plenty of other lens options. This lens is used 75% of the time on my camera. I sometimes stuff my A7ii with this lens in a jacket pocket or short cargo pocket. I can't do that with any other lens or full frame ILC. My specimen is very sharp, even sharper than the Sony 50mm 1.8 and much…

Good value and a pleasure to use.

I am very happy with this lens after a week of use, including a short vacation. Images are reasonably sharp on the 24MP camera. Maybe not good enough for Fe mount cameras over MP, but I can't say for sure. Autofocus is fast and precise in good light. There is some low light hunting, but personally I don't find it terrible. I've spent more on lenses that don't perform better when it comes to focusing, and I'm less annoyed with this lens because I didn't pay much for it. Flash is nothing to worry

New and broken DSLR lens item

This lens was purchased for use on the A7R II. I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised to see a decent case included, not usually found in a box of much more expensive lenses. The overall build quality of the body is about what I would expect given the reasonable price. After seamlessly connecting to my camera, I was very excited and thought how nice it would be to carry around such a light and compact full-frame camera. The pleasant perspective ended abruptly there when I turned on the…

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Overall very happy with the purchase. took for washing shooting. but the AF of the camera itself is difficult to shoot from the hip. in general, af works best at aperture 2,8 if you need to shoot something at 8 or 16. then turn off the "live view" mode, it helps a lot. I shot it this year for the whole summer of the wedding, the blur is quite strong at 2.8, I didn’t think that the flu would be so small. in general, the picture almost does not pull (compared to the 24mm sigma artovskaya) I do…

    Pros
    • + The drawing is amazing. straight away is impossible. checked with the original zeyz from Sony. the same optical scheme. even on the site, the advantages are the same, as if one Korean did advertising. and it is quite likely that they were going to the same factory. + The size was mainly taken because of him. the camera with a lens can be hidden under the kurta or constantly carried with you in your bag.
    Cons
    • Claims only to the af of the Sony camera itself. - due to the size, it is very inconvenient to use manual focus, it will be extremely difficult to shoot a video.
