This lens is better than Sony Zeiss 35 f/2.8 FF. Both lenses are pretty much the same in my opinion, with the Samyang being a bit sharper in the center and across the frame. The Sony Zeiss 35 f/2.8 FF is a bit heavier, which may or may not be a positive thing depending on the viewing angle. I sent this lens back because it was decentered. , with the left side of the image being noticeably blurry at the full F/2.8 aperture. A small amount of dust in the lens elements was also visible. If the lens wasn't decentered, this would be an absolutely gorgeous lens for its petite form factor and image quality. Another problem is the lack of warranty information on the lens. Where and how to fix it is the question. If you're looking for a 35mm pancake for Sony's full-frame system, I'd definitely go for this instead of the Sony Zeiss 35 f/2.8 FF, but do test the lens for decentering and note that Samyang's warranty service is a little cryptic.
