I have been using small inexpensive UV lamps for many years. They break, often die, or individual LEDs don't work at all. LGUIY is a different ball game. It looks like a tactical flashlight, durable and VERY bright. Turning on UV goggles makes a world of difference. I took a night walk in the desert with a flashlight and it has a range of 20-30 feet. It will pick up scorpions and other pests. On the other hand, I used it in my bathroom and spent the next hour cleaning the toilet, walls and floor. it is bright enough to illuminate an entire room with UV light. The only downside is that it's big and heavy. Holds 6 batteries and is really a bit big for air travel. I use UV to check for bed bugs and other nasty things when I travel.
