UPDATE: I've had this set for a few weeks now and there's definitely a learning curve, but if you make them to the instructions they'll last a while! I have already bought more colors and can't wait to use them. I've changed the color twice and it's easier to remove the gel with acetone. They last longer if you buff your nails first and don't put gel on your skin. This will keep the sides from lifting when you try to hold the nail in place. The second picture (with glitter) is the second color change I've had in about a week and a half. I had to trim my nails (don't want to scratch my baby) but the color stayed so good! I've been trying to find a homemade gel kit for about a month and I saw a very popular Youtuber using this particular one. I received it today and used it right away. I already prepped my nails (pushed cuticles, trimmed and polished nails). I followed the directions exactly and read a review that said they definitely cured it with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol so I did that too and so far they are good. I've cooked dinner and cleaned dinner, washed the dishes, changed some diapers and washed my hands as many times as I can count. Love the colors, the light works well and it comes with all the tools you need. I will come back and post and update as it holds up!
