An attempt at order and minimization and it absolutely hits the mark. Easy attachment with Velcro (included). It also has the option to put on a small cap to put the leash on when I don't need the light, which is nice and avoids exposing the spiked velcro when I turn the light off. I won't turn off the light, but if you do, they provided that option. As other reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't provide much light and isn't the equivalent of a flashlight in total darkness. Night. But for finding/cleaning up dog poop on early morning walks it's perfect. And at least there is light. It's very bright, the lights are a nice safety feature that helps me be seen better. And I mean light (plural): white flashlight in front, red light in back, with separate on/off switches. All in all I highly recommend it.
