I wanted something easy to manage while working from home during this COVID-19 event. My home desktop had room for regular desktop PC speakers, but I didn't want to mess with the subwoofer setup and hide the speakers behind the monitor. When I was looking for soundbars, I came across these. The price is attractive and the fact that it can be illuminated with a blue LED strip appealed to me. The device lets you turn off the LED if you prefer and has a volume wheel. and an on/off button. I liked that it can turn off the USB port to avoid power issues. I figured if I didn't like it if it sounded bad I would return it and try again. It arrived today and installation was easy: plug it into a USB port, tell Win 10 to use it, plug in the sound. Jack and here. The sound is respectable for what it is and the price. There's a bit of depth so you can enjoy the music - not tinny or boomy. You won't slam windows with it, but it's not what you're looking for in a USB-powered speaker. This works great for background music while working, which can park under your monitor and give off light reflections.
