I have a set of curling irons of the same brand that I like. I love wearing my hair straight, but when I use a straightener my hair looks like curly straw—still. Bought this on a lightning deal for a good price so I thought what the heck would I try. I am very impressed! It makes my hair really nice and NOT frizzy. It heats up very quickly and quickly smooths and straightens my hair. I use a heat protectant spray in front of my hands and heat but don't leave it in one spot for too long so I don't notice any heat damage to my hair. I also use a light argan oil spray before drying my hair. Finally a hair straightener that suits me. Very happy with this purchase.
