Review on Enhanced Performance KYB KG4539 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock for Improved Ride Quality by Bill Escobar

After installing them on the back of my BMW E30, the rear is now a full 2 inches from the previous ride height; There is now about 2 1/2 inches of silver shock visible between the top edge of the rear wheel and the bottom of the fender edge on my machine. For the record, I didn't change anything else on the car when installing these parts. KYB certainly won't admit that anyone has ever had a problem with these shocks which are (allegedly) a direct jump to BMW part number 33521135888 for my car. Having the rear of the car on stilts hinders cornering, not improves it, to say the least. .
