I am a commercial grower, pH and total dissolved solids are very important. I was looking for an inexpensive way to provide each of my employees with their own tester set. I ordered several different testers and compared them to the Blue Lab testers I use. While I saw no difference when testing cheaper pH testers in parallel, this was not the case when comparing ppm and EC testers. This instrument tested the same as the blue lab tester EVERY time. None of the other blocks had the same results every time. There are cheaper variants and there are more expensive variants. I wasn't looking for "cheap", I wanted value for money and these testers tick all the right boxes.
