I love this item. I've seen people complain about mold, I don't have that problem, and here's why. I didn't add "two tablespoons" of vinegar or anything like that. I poured a lot of vinegar into it. How much. Not even a little bit. And then I filled it with water. I've had this thing for at least a month now. There is no mold. It also removes the smell of vinyl. You should just let it sit. I'm sitting in front of this thing as we talk. No vinyl smell, no mold. This purchase was worth it and my daughter loves it. I put it on the high chair tray and it just "splashed".
