This is a great and useful tool when you are cooking eggs. I especially like hard boiled eggs and it makes them almost easy to prepare. I would like to clear up a few misconceptions about the product. First, it doesn't turn off automatically at the end of cooking. A loud (annoying) buzzer sounds and the hob goes into cyclic on/off mode. You have to turn it off or unplug it to turn it off completely. Second, many people have complained that the cord is too short. Such a shame. Turn the device over and you'll see that the cord is wound onto a spool built into the base. This allows the user to set only the required cable length, which is more secure.
