Two problems: 1 - the round shape makes it difficult to place the lens low enough to ensure a normal line of sight - today's low volume masks have minimal lens area - the product must have a crescent shape, more suitable for a modern face mask2 - the focal length of the lens is very short - objects more than 15 cm away are blurred - requires the sensor to be held too close to the mask I prefer Dive Optx inserts, they are not permanent but give normal depth field readings and they are shaped to not stay in sight. I removed the Trident lens from my mask shortly after fitting it. I will say that the glue works great.
