Well, I've tried them and I have to say I really like them! It didn't cut the drying time much, but it was a very large 2 week load of clothes and I had to remove the lint midway through the drying cycle because it accumulates so quickly with heavier fibers. It's still cold in upstate New York right now! It took me 10 minutes drying time at best, but I hope and suspect they'll do it even faster next time with a slightly lighter load. Now for the really good part. The reason I love them so much is because I'm actually allergic to dryer sheets and other dryer balls don't work the same way. When I heard about wool dryer balls I was immediately drawn to the idea because I already knew lanolin would work wonders to heal my sensitive skin. The clothes came out so soft I almost wanted to cry! I also fell in love with a few drops of lavender and mint, plus the natural smell of wool. I also spin wool, so I love the light animal musk in these dryer balls. A very soothing scent. My cat also loves to play with it. ^_^ Also, no noise! Now I'm used to getting my laundry out early enough to minimize static electricity, but since I don't usually throw anything in the dryer except stuff that needs drying, there's usually a little bit of static electricity. I think the fact that the lanolin in these balls "wet" the fabric helped a lot without getting it wet! Absolutely zero static. I love it! Great product, that's it. For your health!
