I'm a hunter, I like to process my own meat. I use very sharp knives to make cutting easier and faster. Only problem is I try to go fast and rarely poke through deer, moose etc without cutting myself at least once. Last fall, while dodging my son's moose and severely cutting my finger in the snowy mountains where I couldn't get a few stitches, I decided I needed to take some precautions. I bought them because they are very light and thin and take up almost no space in my bag. I have used them several times. I usually use a razor-sharp Havalon knife. I cut myself several times while wearing them, but no blood had spilled and the gloves had not been cut. They just do what they say they will do. They are also very easy to clean, so they can be used over and over again.
