They don't weigh much at all and I am very happy with my purchase

I wish I had bought them a few years ago. I live in Washington DC and I ride my bike. After years of getting my back, shorts and backpack wet while commuting in the rain, I finally bought and installed them. I love the fit, finish and look of even a road bike. Yesterday I had a chance to use them on the way home in the rain. There were no more wet racetracks on my back, my boots were drier and my bike gear was no longer soaked from road mud. They can be removed in under a minute if I don't want to put them on, but they actually make the bike look cooler and more complete. They do not weigh at all and I am very happy with the purchase. Also, it's fun to see other roadies making faces when being passed by a winged bike :) I'll post pics when I have time. Update: After using them for about 2 months I need to downgrade the chainrings to 2 and here's why the rear bottom round metal wires that fit into the adjustable black plastic bracket that attaches the fender to the bike frame aren't long enough and permissible The fender comes off at high speed. During installation I noticed that there was still a small round metal bracket in the clamp, but I figured that with the adjustment screws tightened enough, everything would be fine. I was wrong, and yesterday after hitting a not-so-large tear in the pavement, my rear fender completely detached from the black adjustable plastic clips while driving off-road at about 25 mph. The pressure allowed the lower adjustable cables holding the rear fender to the frame to loosen, and when the fender then made contact with the rear wheel, the fender rolled forward, pinching between the rear wheel and my down tube and locking the rear wheel at speed and bend the wheel. Wing is almost 1/2. I was able to stop on the side of the road without falling, but it was a very dangerous situation. I then removed both fenders from the bike and am trying to contact the manufacturer. I'll post an update later.
