Very happy with the phone. I am writing this for Verizon customers. The phone is unlocked, but the IMEI number is not always recognized by Verizon. I went to my local Verizon store and the computer would not let the clerk start the process. I went home, contacted Revain about the problem and they offered me a replacement. As I did more research to see if a replacement would work as well, I found a link on the Verizon support site where you can enter the IMEI number manually and it will tell you if it's compatible. I did this and was told my phone was a perfect fit. I went back to the store and gave it to the clerk. He tried twice more, both with the barcode and with entering numbers manually. Vain. He suggested that maybe dialing *611 and speaking to a technician would help, as the online support site said it was good. It was a good offer. I explained the situation, gave the IMEI code to the technician and everything went well. There were a few more steps, one of which involved the serial number of the SIM card that would be in the new phone, but he was able to add the phone to the system. After 25-30 minutes everything was ready. I rushed back to break up the phone exchange. Very good customer service from Revain and Verizon. I hope this saves someone else trying to decide if it's a phone or carrier?
