Apparently two different filters are used on the 4R100 transmission. One has a long hose, the other a short one. (Ask me how I know that.) FT113 seems short and FT114 looks long. You'll need to search Google Images to compare your panorama to the short and long versions to make sure you choose the right one. O'Reilly's seems to only sell one size. Autozone offers both with its Duralast brand. I would have preferred a Motorcraft part but it wasn't on the cards. You can't put a long tube filter on a short pan because you can't bolt the pan, but I think you can fit a short tube filter. in a long pan no problem. Obviously that would be bad because you won't be sucking liquid from the bottom of the pan and if you don't have enough liquid it will be a problem. Also, I don't know why the filter is sold as a "kit" when it doesn't include a gasket. However, the OEM gasket must be reusable and this fact was noted on my pan. The gasket I received with the Duralast filter was just a cut piece of neoprene and not as good as the OEM gasket which was metal and rubber with two sealing faces.
