I buy a lot of oil based markers as I am a calligrapher. I have always used the Sharpie brand prior to this purchase. Decided to try these based on the positive reviews. Pros: The color in it is opaque and blends well with different surfaces. In my opinion the tip is actually better than the Sharpies as it is slightly sharper than the Sharpie Fine but also firmer which is good for fine detail. Cons: Pens flowed down my arm. While this isn't usually a big problem when I'm working in my studio, it can be a disaster when I'm working outdoors. I think its disadvantage is that the place where the pin shaft connects to the point is screwed. Therefore, if you press it, it should come loose. I put tape on the connection point, but I feel like the design as a whole needs to be better to prevent this. This happened to 4 of the 6 pens in the pack.
