I have a 1989 Ford Festiva. Sold for 3 years, 30 years ago. Spare parts are therefore not always easy to find. One of the stabilizer bushings to the "frame" has completely disappeared. So the steering wheel is really twitchy. Of course there are no original replacement sockets. The anti-roll bar is a more active part of the steering on the Festiva than on older rear-wheel drive cars. I measured the diameter and it was 13/16 inches. But I went to replace and, to be honest, it seemed too tight. I could probably go for 7/8. Anyway, it worked well enough. The originals were rounder at the back so I just made some flat plates out of leftovers, since they are flat at the back the stud bolts were long enough. It worked.
