Just what I needed to avoid USB stick overload
New computer was missing USB ports. Also, I always had the problem that what I was trying to plug in was drawing too much power and I had to unplug something else. Was looking for powered USB 3.0. This works very well. Sometimes I work late into the night and the light coming from the device is noticeable. But I got everything plugged in and he's behind the computer, so getting a star isn't a big deal.
