Review on 🍲 Stainless Steel Oster Steamer Cookware, 3.0-Quart by Dave Hess

Almost perfect for my purposes

1. This is machine washable stainless steel; however, dishwashers and detergents are likely to discolor after a while. Personally, what matters to me is how it works, not how it looks.2. It's very easy, that's the way it should be. It's only for boiling water. There's no reason to have pounds of metal.3. Although it's lightweight, it feels durable. I think you have to hit it hard to dent it.4. The pans are not as high as I would like. This can be a problem if you're cooking for a long time, you may need to add more water. If you don't want water bubbling up from below into the food above, you should also avoid adding too much water. Although shorter than expected, it holds a lot of food. If I put in a 1/2 pound bag of frozen veggie mix, it looks like I could fit two more bags if needed. 6. The handles feel sturdy. They get hot, so you'll need oven mitts. The cover sometimes rattles, but a slight twist usually eliminates the rattle.8. Where two pans meet, a lot of steam comes out. Although I'm not sure how important it is. It's almost as good as aluminum, which I've had for years until I melted it on the stove. I think it's almost perfect and for the price I don't see why you wouldn't buy it. At least it's almost perfect for the way I use it (throw in frozen veggies and maybe a piece of fish, sausage or shrimp and dinner is ready in 15-20 minutes), but maybe you have other criteria.
