Cozy. Easy. Satisfied.

This is going to be my favorite pan for cooking the simplest of dishes. I use the bottom pan for quinoa while the top one steams the veggies while quickly and easily preparing a full meal for one with minimal effort. The non-steamer bottom pan is shorter than most regular pans, so it easily fits on the shelves of my small fridge when I have leftovers.

. Had high hopes for this one but it was dirty with black soot

I had high hopes for this one but it was dirty with black soot. I washed it a few times but an area in the steamer basket that was pushed out like a lip did NOT come out clean. I wiped it with a paper towel and each time a black streak appeared as if the metal was oxidizing. I'm sending it back because I don't like food evaporating in it.

DO NOT BUY! suitable for dishes

Traaaaaash! Having been in the kitchen for 20 years, I know how to cook and operate the stove. Don't waste money! That thing is so cheap and flimsy! Poor quality and a layer of metal right on the stove top, has a disgusting taste and the metal is clearly washing into food. I wouldn't be surprised if lead and aluminum get mixed up with "stainless steel". I threw mine in the trash, I should have asked for a refund but it's too late.

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

The two parts don't seal perfectly so a lot of steam escapes and...

Addendum: After a few months of use one of the handles is leaking making the pot unusable for large amounts of water. The product looks good for the price. The two parts do not form a perfect seal, so a lot of steam escapes and it takes time to heat up. In this case you will need oven mitts as it will feel scalding hot. I've never had to stir veggies in a steamer, but the metal gets too hot not to. It took a little longer than I expected to vape, but given the price, this is a great product…

3/5 at best. Updated to 4.5/5

What I liked. This was enough to make 2 6" long arrowroots, I just cut them into 4 pieces. Now, what I don't like. The entire pot got hot, including the handles, lid, and lid handle, so you'll have to be very careful. After washing, strange deposits appeared on the pans and spots (see photo) appeared to be oxidized. NOTE. I washed by hand. So the dishwasher didn't have a chance to oxidize it when drying. So I doubt it , maybe after a few uses I'll upgrade and see how far it gets me. For 19€…

Please don't buy this again.

I bought this product in October 2020, after three months of use the glass cover cracked. It wasn't because of my abuse, the metal ring covering the jar lid came loose and the jar lid was loose within a gap of about 1/8 inch. After a few times the glass lid cracked. I had to buy another product. This time it's the Nevler brand. It's much stronger in every way. 1. Nevler is only $4 more expensive2. Stainless steel is much thicker on Nevler3. The Nevler steamer has a rubber coating on each handle

Almost perfect for my purposes

1. This is machine washable stainless steel; however, dishwashers and detergents are likely to discolor after a while. Personally, what matters to me is how it works, not how it looks.2. It's very easy, that's the way it should be. It's only for boiling water. There's no reason to have pounds of metal.3. Although it's lightweight, it feels durable. I think you have to hit it hard to dent it.4. The pans are not as high as I would like. This can be a problem if you're cooking for a long time, you

What to expect for the price

The unit I received was assembled slightly incorrectly, the pot handles are not perfectly centered with slots for the fry basket. It's fine, it doesn't affect the operation of the fryer (and the whole set is actually a lot less flimsy than it looks). The big problem is that the basket sticks too tightly to the pot when placed in the draining position. This requires some effort both when resting and when retrieving the basket, so contents can become airborne if restraint is not exercised. Again,
