I hope the birds don't destroy this

I have several females that want (and lay) eggs only to get destroyed because another bird ruined their nest. I currently have the male separated from the female from the finches and other canaries. So I place different types of nests in the cages and let them decide which ones to use.

Pros

shelter from the cold winter---on cold winter nights, finches, tits, chickadees or sparrows will nest in this birdhouse. A straw bird nest provides a warm and cozy place for small birds. Friends to escape the cold wind, rain or snow.

Cons
