Overall I am impressed with this unit. FWIW, as far as I can tell it is identical to the one sold by LASTBUS. Even the printed instructions are identical. Both "companies" seem quick to respond to questions about their email addresses. I installed this on a 2010 Volvo XC70. I had to remove the tailgate trim panels to access the necessary wiring - it's not necessarily a very easy install. If you are imaginative and love to work on your machine, this is NBD. You can search the internet for how to access the necessary wiring for your specific vehicle. I connected my device to the license plate light - so it's always on and broadcasts when the car is running, but turns off with the car and doesn't drain the battery when the car is turned off. This has the advantage that when you switch to the camera app on your cell phone, the camera is already streaming and the picture is just there. I can even activate the app on my iPhone via Siri. And my phone will automatically connect to the device's Wi-Fi network after I make the first Wi-Fi connection. Yours may or may not - mileage may vary. I wish the app was a bit more robust - it would be nice to be able to customize the guides, for example, but it works. I had to drill a small hole to the right of the tailgate latch to route the wiring, but I patched it right after installation, put the panels back in place and everything looks pretty solid. Decent solution for old cars. Just be aware that installing it will take some patience and research and you need to be in good shape.
