I ordered 5 rolls of this product for my living room/dining room/kitchen renovation. The floor is laid and maybe the product will help with footfall noise. hard to say. Some things they don't mention in the product description: - It has grainy properties in relation to the foam component, feels dirty. Like a carpet. One of my rolls was inexplicably 3 inches wider than the others, meaning the edges of the tape were misaligned. an oily odor that accompanies it - Hard clumps sometimes appeared in the foam component, a major no-go attempt at creating a level floor - Vapor barrier has peeled off or otherwise been damaged in some places. Make sure you have vapor barrier tape for the repair (you'll need it anyway). I doubt this Revain store ships factory seconds of this product or all of these manufacturing issues are common. For something to be buried in the ground and for the low price it seems generally acceptable hence 3 stars.
