Review on 🌡️ PerfectPrime TM0300: Accurate Non-contact Infrared Thermometer Laser Pointer Gun -58~1112°F by Genene Locson

DANGER! Don't waste your money until you read this. I bought this thermometer because it only needs one AA battery to operate. When it arrived I put it to use immediately. I have read ALL ENGLISH (nice not to have to wade through 6 languages for each step) instructions in full and removed the battery cover as usual as shown in the instructions and exactly as described in the English instructions and the battery door does not open open. the lake is fine. Sometimes these doors don't latch or open easily, so I push them hard and nothing. I looked closely and saw a small crack/slit in the top of the door so I stuck a knife blade in and turned it over. nothing, but I messed up the door. Well, not the end of the world. So I stuck a small flat head screwdriver in the slot I had at the time and pulled it out. The door cracked, revealing the Philips "000" cap screw that held the door in place! I went back and looked in the package for the cheap #000 driver I must have missed but there was no driver. I checked the manual again, but no. mention of the screw. I hold the battery in the device with rubber bands and IT WORKS. I have a #000 Phillips screwdriver, so I just need a warning that it's there. You may need to buy a #000 driver (or deal with rubber bands) with this IR thermometer.
