Review on Smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro 6/128 GB Global, 2 SIM, Mineral Gray by Adam EK ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

I thought I would never return to smartphones based on MediaTek Helio processors, but this device pleasantly surprised me. There was an unpleasant experience using Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, terrible throttling, overheating and brakes. This device does not have this. The overall impression of the device is pleasant, I am satisfied with the purchase, it is completely satisfied in terms of performance, image quality and screen. I recommend buying it to those who are ready to experiment with firmware, want to play heavy games and do not want to overpay.

Pros
  • Good screen, juicy picture, viewing angles. I can say from the camera that it’s just not bad, with Google cameras you get good pictures, you shouldn’t expect quality from it like a DSLR. Performance: Better than Snapdragon 720/730G, except for applications natively optimized for Snapdragon. The shell works smoothly, without microfreezes when winding. Compared with Mi 9T which was bought half a year ago by my wife. In antutu, my copy scores 286,560 points. Topchik apparatus for my money. Heating: For those who are interested in heating, it is not critical, it feels like in games no more than on my previous Redmi 5 Plus phone. Almost all games run at ultra settings of 60 FPS without significant drawdowns and overheating. Autonomy: if we compare again with the Mi 9T, then in the active mode 8rpo loses by about an hour and a half. But in general, not worse than competitors, I have enough phone for a day. If you do not play heavy games, then the phone will last 2-2.5 days with proper settings. Helio G90T is more voracious in terms of energy efficiency compared to competitors on the Snapdragon 720/730. Price: I bought in Amazon for a promotion for 14900, when the dollar was high, I didn’t want to wait a long time with Girbest or Ali, so I overpaid about 2300 wooden ones. In its price, this device is one of the best on the market in terms of price / quality ratio.
Cons
  • Native firmware: out of the box you will not get the dialer, sms and contacts familiar to Miui users, instead of it there will be guano from Google. In addition, there are a lot of ads and garbage in the native firmware, which cannot be removed in the usual way. I cured it by flashing it to the Indonesian globalka, for the firmware it is necessary to unlock the bootloader, then it can be locked back so that GooglePay and NFC work, who are interested have detailed instructions on the w3bsit3-dns. Com forum. Sound: the native speaker is deaf and not as loud as on the Mi 9T. RAM: I personally got a device not with the fastest RAM, I took version 6/64.
