They are canvas and they are great!
Incorrectly described, but the picture is correct. These are canvas shoes with leather soles and they are wonderful. I prefer canvas over leather for the comfort and the fact that they can be machine washed. And the split sole is much better than the solid one. Also, my kids dance a lot, which is really good. I can even pass them on to the younger ones. Other well known brand shoes that we bought were very comfortable but usually fell apart after a few months of regular use. I highly recommend these shoes.
