I hesitated. I didn't want to buy my wife a present that was a problem for her. she's also a terrible cook, so that was a stretch. To my delight, not only does she know very little about her, she also likes her very much. The pot is large for 6-10 people. She likes that the pan is easy to clean. The quality seems to be intact so far. it gets warm enough that it can easily be adjusted to accommodate cheese or chocolate dishes and everything in between. I'm looking forward to pickles, but we haven't done that yet. So far it's proven to be a really nice addition to our kitchen and social group. I would recommend it without hesitation based on previous experience.
