I bought this liner after running 6 tires paired with Avenir Thorn Resistant tubes in a month. That works great. I went through 5 spikes and just pulled each one out. Another time I hit 20 studs, 10 on the front wheel, 10 on the rear wheel. After I got home, the tube slowly deflated overnight because it was flat in the morning. This is probably the best option as the spike resistant Avenir tubes are VERY THICK AND HEAVY. You will feel it. It fills up like someone put a 20-pound weight on each wheel. And you will slow down about 2-5 miles per hour. Great rolling resistance with these tubes. Tubular tires are even worse. To solve this problem, inflate the balloon to its maximum weight. I have since put the normal tube back into the rear tire with this liner. And now it's much faster and the perfect combination. I left the front tire with the Avenir tubes and this liner just in case. If the spike hits you from the side, you will also hit the tube as the sealant only works on the contact side of the center of the tyre. Much luck!
