It actually popped my tire

It was easy enough to install. It doesn't seem completely impenetrable, but I haven't gotten a single apartment since installing it. while .I had a slow leak, picked up the phone and found nothing. So we pick up the bike again, the next day another flat tire. This time I put the hose in the water and of course the bubbles. I noticed that the end of the liner has a semi-circular slit in the inner tube that pierces through at one point. It's really tongue in cheek (unlike the black fly in your…

Pros and cons of rims and parts

I bought this liner after running 6 tires paired with Avenir Thorn Resistant tubes in a month. That works great. I went through 5 spikes and just pulled each one out. Another time I hit 20 studs, 10 on the front wheel, 10 on the rear wheel. After I got home, the tube slowly deflated overnight because it was flat in the morning. This is probably the best option as the spike resistant Avenir tubes are VERY THICK AND HEAVY. You will feel it. It fills up like someone put a 20-pound weight on each…

Do Not Disturb, Poorly Tuned

Okay, maybe I'm missing something. But I do not think so. I have read the instructions several times. The problem is that you take a tightly wound coil and have to glue it somehow or become part of the hoop without glue. Bzzz. I bought my mountain bike 15 years ago and paid extra for protective inserts. It was a thin kevlar liner and they worked great. I've never had a puncture except one that came from an unprotected area. I was looking for the same thing, I didn't find it, I bought this junk.

Great product, difficult installation for me

Bought as I had 2 apartments in 2 bike rides in my area. The streets seem dirtier than usual, with nails, glass and rubbish. A lot of companies make tire liners and they had good reviews so I gave them a try. The product itself has 5 stars - works as advertised and after numerous bike rides no flat tire for 2 weeks. The reason for the 4 star rating is that the installation was more difficult than expected. The liners tend to deflect more than 1 cm in any direction inside the tire even after…
