Great sensor and super accurate - but I confess I thought I screwed up at first. I hooked it up to my Aeotec SmartThings hub very easily and knew right away that it had a humidity sensor in addition to the temperature sensor, which is pretty cool. Also while I use it to monitor my sump pump (for early detection of flooding in the event of a failure) I imagine a temp and humidity sensor would be extremely helpful in preventing pipe bursts or water intrusion Place 1 and you want to mitigate excess humidity. I might buy a few more for the closets, which I always worry about in the winter. Whatever the case, within days of hanging the probe in my swamp, I was getting frequent wet alerts. They almost always went back to "normal" until this happened. I checked to see if there was any water rising to the sensor and when I realized it wasn't around I figured I had a bad blockage. This continued until I took a closer look and realized that the spider had spun a tiny web between the two probes, and when enough moisture had condensed on that web, it completed the cycle! Insanely sensitive. Cleared the net and have been vigilantly free ever since and also satisfied with the reassurance that thing works WELL!
