Although I've been doing interior renovations for 20 years, I've never had to cut a door from the edge or sides to install door hardware. I guess most of the work with doors was pretty routine. My customer ordered an expensive bag door latch from Emtek and I needed a mortise clip to install. It took a bit of time (and a bit of practice on 2x4) to figure out how it works, but it did the job well and the install was a success. I used a standard 1/2" Dewalt corded drill to power the cutting attachment. My only gripe is that cuts from multiple directions leave somewhat jagged corners. Easy to clean with a small saw, but a bit of a hassle. All in All in all I'm sure this tool will get the job done when I need to hook up again.
