Review on Renewed Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset with Blue VO!CE Mic Filter for Immersive Gaming Experience by Akihiko Kichiro ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not perfect quality, some small defect.

I will say this, if you are going to buy this product, then be prepared for two serious dilemmas: Either you use headphones via the USB DAC from the kit and get a muffled sound, but a good microphone, or you connect headphones through regular 3.5 mm jacks and get a clear sound , but you will lose the Blue Yeti microphone capability (Although, I won’t say for sure here, maybe your PC can unscrew the microphone through 3.5 no worse than the Blue Yeti from Logitech) I'm still waiting for Logitech to start respecting their customer, look at the western reddit, constantly people hate G HUB software and some Logitech G products, after the DTS broke and still hasn't been fixed for about 6+ months, people are already seriously refusing to buy these products, and someone already just returned it to the store under warranty. Such an attitude does not fit any framework. Perhaps I will supplement this review in the future, and if this problem with codecs is fixed, I will simply delete the lines about the codec or write that the problem is solved. But at the moment, I would not recommend these headphones for purchase, the only thing I fell for when buying them was a microphone, due to the fact that the quality of my previous microphone was poor.

Pros
  • - The build quality is not surprising, I did not expect anything else. - Good microphone sound, there are no serious complaints here, if you use headphones via USB DAC, you get wonderful voice quality, ideal for communication and for games. - Complete set at height, ear pads, two wires, and a convenient bag. - Replaceable wires, this is the best solution, if you accidentally touch the headphones, then your wire will simply fly out of the connector, in my previous headphones everything was soldered inward and if you also touch them, then there is a chance to break the wire (And it broke)
Cons
  • - Absolutely inconvenient and stupid G HUB software - No support from the manufacturer itself, since last year the Western community has been complaining about the problem that the DTS: Sound Unbound codec has stopped working, when it is turned on in Windows, the sound starts crackling. - Well, if DTS is broken, then they won't even let you turn on Dolby Access (This is provided that the headphones are connected via the same USB DAC, if you connect via a 3.5 mm jack, then DTS and Dolby Access will work without problems) - Absolutely muffled sound via the supplied USB DAC, it feels like you need it just to get Blue Yeti technology working in the microphone - In the player, if you use DSP and turn on the headphones via USB DAC, the player will simply crash (Here, not exactly, maybe it will be different for you) - The Blue Yeti function only works if you connect the headphones via USB DAC.
