Total failure. "Check Engine " light comes on for the second time in two weeks

So the return date is past but I can still get in touch because one day I had to pick up my car to check the "Check Engine" -Light up. Oh and the lights came on again this morning so I gotta do it all over again which costs $60 out of my pocket in LA for that stupid gas cap.. My OLD gas cap broke just the liner holding the tank seals up and it worked great, no check engine light on for 4 months, I just got tired of twisting the liner and wanted to get a proper cap, I'm beyond disappointed, I'm very angry, for those who want to know, I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra.
