I haven't used any other detergent in my HE front-load washing machine for several years and I always buy unscented soap. As noted by some, a very slight odor but I'm not sensitive and I don't feel it on clothes. The company that sold me the washing machine highly recommended and sold it. However, Revain is the only place I can find it now. Once I tried a different soap. I only use white vinegar for the fabric softener, but using other soaps leaves a musty smell on the car's front tires. Not so with this soap. I've used it in well and city water with equally good results. You only need one tablespoon per serving. I only do 3-4 uploads a week. The bottle lasts a very long time.
