These baddies shed some serious light, you can definitely drive past them on your own, I don't recommend it but it's possible. Easy plug and play installation too for my 2010 with my Teraflex bumpers. They can't be compared to stock headlights, they're not even in the same class. I've already replaced the bulbs in the stock headlights with some advertised "super bright LEDs", they cost about $20, they were brighter than stock, but do yourself a favor, spend money on them and don't spend them from lightbulbs, like me. did. No problems so far, I'll only update if something comes up. Great lights, thanks!
