Test this product and each product of this type before installing

Mine was DOA, my fault was not checking that resistor with my meter before installing it, anyway the resistor was bad so my fan is still hanging high. I ended up buying another one from Revain (I chose the cheaper one), got it fast this time, I tested it with a meter first, it checked fine, I installed it and now I have the fan speed control again. electronic parts after installation, and if they are bad, you usually can't return them, and because this part is very difficult to install, I strongly recommend testing it first.
