I had to modify this a bit to use it on my boat. The center shaft keyway was offset about 15 degrees from my old wheel. I centered the wheel on the adapter and re-drilled 4 of the 5 holes then cut to fit the bolts. I might have adjusted the steering setting on the boat, but it was easier to re-drill some of the holes than fiddling with them.
