I was wary of installing it on the curved part of a pump sprayer. Luckily it turned out great. Instead of manually pumping, the pressure in the tank is now generated by an air compressor (30 psi or less). Some tips for installation on a polyethylene tank: 1. When planning the position of the valve, ensure that the position of the valve will not impede the removal of the tank cap.2. Make sure you have pliers to secure the valve from inside the tank by tightening the lock nut. Channel blocking worked in my case.3. Using a slightly smaller drill bit than the valve stem, try to "cut" the threads into the polyester (you can always make the hole larger if needed). Although not required, use silicone on both sides of the valve before installation if you have it on hand. Don't try to install it in place of the relief valve.6. For most spray tanks, 30psi or less is probably a safe pressure and should be checked before use. Your safety valve should open if the pressure is too high. Regardless, it's best not to approach this limit to stay safe.
