I have tried other types of fasteners in the past to attach things to drywall. They always seemed to fall out if I breathed too hard on them. I've also had a few that actually broke and didn't expand like they should when you tightened the bolt. On the other hand I'm very happy with these screws :D Well since you need to drill a hole big enough for these "wings" to go through when folded (3/8 inch in this case) that means that you will end up with a hole larger than the screw diameter. You may need to take this into account when marking where to drill holes. It depends on what you mount. Drywall, get this style. It's worth it :D
