Just installed front shocks on my 1985 Chevy K10. I think the existing shocks were original as the passenger side was completely gone (no rebound) and the driver's side was almost as bad. I took it for a test drive and of course it's nice and tight. It's a new high performance shock absorber so obviously it's a bit stiff but it's going to get a few thousand miles and I'm sure they'll be even better. I should get the rear shock absorbers tomorrow and then I will be 100%. If you're looking for a set of well-priced shocks that perform well, KYB looks like they have it.
