Added sensor to qolsys iq2+ panel in less than a minute. Just go to the advanced settings, enter the installation code, add a sensor, a security sensor and an auto-learn sensor. Simply open the cover by pulling the battery tabs to trigger the tamper and the sensor will be added to the panel. Name it and place it where you want it. I tested mine right away, sent an alert to the switchboard within a second or two, and the ADT called me within 5 seconds, oops! But all in all I am very satisfied with these sensors. I placed one in my basement next to my kettle and one in the guest bathroom behind the sink. You can literally add one under every faucet in your house and that would probably be a good idea. Alarm.com also makes a water shut-off valve. So if the high water sensors fail, the main water valve shuts off, how cool is that!?
